Local educators can apply for TangerKids grants
Educators at public and private schools can apply beginning Aug. 17 for funding through the 2026-27 TangerKids Grants Program offered by Tanger Outlets Hilton Head and Tanger Outlets Savannah.
Applications will be accepted through Oct. 18. Faculty members at public and private schools serving students from pre-K through 12th grade are eligible to apply.
The grants are intended to fund classroom and school programs, including projects designed to improve learning environments and accessibility, address student needs and provide additional classroom resources.
According to Tanger, the company has provided more than $3.9 million in grants to schools and educational programs over the past 30 years. In 2025, the TangerKids Grants Program awarded an estimated $200,000 to initiatives in the United States and Canada.
The company operates 38 outlet centers and four open-air lifestyle centers.
Grant recipients in each community are expected to be announced during TangerKids Day in January 2027.
