This time, at the Palmetto Bluff Summer Concert with Lowcountry Boil, we asked, “Before tonight, what was the last concert you attended?”
Here’s how some neighbors and visitors answered.
Carrie Perry, Los Angeles: “This is my first concert since last year in Los Angeles. I don’t remember who was playing. It was a free concert in the park across the street from my apartment, and I watched from my balcony.”
Marty Strauss, Palmetto Bluff: “We were just here for a July 3 party and concert for residents, Party on the Moon. It was really good. My next one will be in January with Fleetwood Mac.”
Johnny Ussery, Palmetto Bluff: “I was at the same concert here July 3. We had a good time, with great music and great fellowship with good friends.”
Susam McGarry, Hampton Hall: “I went with my daughter to see Mary J. Blige in Atlanta in March. Tonight was fantastic, the weather was perfect. I love me some bluegrass music!”
John Mohr, Hampton Hall: “I just went to a jazz concert with Eric Mendel at the Jazz Corner (on Hilton Head). It was fabulous. I try to go once a week.”
