With this feature, we seek to capture a glimpse of what your neighbors have to say about a variety of topics, issues, events – and just plain fun questions.
You might find us anywhere around Bluffton with a camera and note pad, asking simple questions and looking for thoughtful answers. If we find you, we hope you will want to participate.
This time, at the Bluffton Public Library, we asked, “What is (or was) the best thing about going back to school?”
Here’s how some neighbors answered.
Ann Piercy, Moss Creek: “Getting a new lunch box. As a first grade teacher (for 35 years, now retired), you have to have a new lunch box – every year!”
Zach La Pour, Bluffton: “Recess. And lunch. And language arts.”
Skyla Williams, Hampton: “The best thing is seeing my friends. I haven’t seen them all summer.”
Noah Mercer, Bluffton: “Meeting new friends.”
Halley Repasch, Bluffton: “Getting to see my friends again, because I missed them all summer when they were traveling.”
