At The Grind coffee shop in Sheridan Park one recent morning, we asked: “Where and what are you planning for your summer vacation?”
Joanie Iaco, Bluffton: “I am going to Sterling Heights, outside of Detroit, Mich., where we are celebrating our 53rd consecutive family reunion.”
David Hussey, Bluffton: “I’m going to Hamburg, Germany, for the International Rotary Convention.” (David is the new president of the Rotary Club of Bluffton.)
Ciera Kiefer, Bluffton: “In July I’m going to Aruba for a week (her uncle is getting married), then I’m going to 4-H camp (real camping – no gadgets) and a cheerleading camp.”
Hannah Baird, Bluffton: “I’m going to see my boyfriend in Rock Hill, where I am working on my theatre master’s degree at Winthrop. I’m also going to a Rascal Flatts concert and the Lantern Festival in Savannah.”
Addison Grace, Bluffton: “I have no further plans than staying here at home. But here, we love to go out on our boat in the May River.”
