With this feature, we seek to capture a glimpse of what you and your neighbors have to say about a variety of topics, issues, events – and just plain fun questions.
You might find us anywhere around Bluffton with a camera and note pad, asking simple questions and looking for thoughtful answers. If we find you, we hope you will want to participate.
At the in augural Hilton Head Island Music Festival held at Honey Horn June 22, we asked: “In the heat of the Lowcountry summer, to what body of water do you feel drawn?”
Monty Jett, Hilton Head Island: “I’m drawn to the sandbar at Bull Creek – but don’t tell anybody where it is!”
Ginnie Chalmers, Hilton Head Island: “I prefer Lake George, in the Adirondacks of New York.”
Kathleen Duncan, Bluffton: “I love to sit on the bluff overlooking the May River. There’s usually a nice breeze, I can watch people and boats, and it’s simply perfect.”
Kathy Taylor, Bluffton: “It depends on the time of day. The pool is more refreshing after a trip to the beach or if we’ve been on the river.”
K.C. Cassavant, Bluffton: “I’m very blessed to live right on Mackay Creek (thanks, Mom and Dad!), so that’s my place for a little dock jump.”
