More and more home buyers search the internet and social media to look for homes before they go to see them in person. According to the National Association of Realtors and other sources, about 93% of home buyers go online to search for homes.

While Hilton Head Island continues to be one of the hottest vacation spots in the U.S., Beaufort County continues to grow at a very fast rate. Many home buyers relocate to the Lowcountry from other parts of the country. In today’s real estate world, it is very important to have your home well represented on the internet in order to reach these potential home buyers.

Getting effective internet exposure for properties for sale requires resources, time and knowledge. Zillow and Trulia are outstanding sites to search for homes and to get valuable real estate information. Some local brokers work hard and smart to increase your home’s exposure on these two sites. When was the last time you looked at Zillow to see how your home for sale was doing?
