In a continuing effort to meet community demand for primary care services, Beaufort Memorial Hospital has added a new internist to its Bluffton Primary Care practice in Westbury Park.

Dr. Johnna Stevens began seeing patients at the practice earlier this month after completing her residency in internal medicine at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.

Dr. Stevens, a magna cum laude graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, received her medical degree from Mercer University in Macon in May 2014.

A native of Tilton, Ga., she has also worked in health care administration and was the medical director of an opiate addiction center prior to joining Beaufort Memorial.

Dr. Stevens joins board certified family medicine specialist Dr. Roger Ulrich and board certified internist Dr. Robert Webb at Bluffton Primary Care.

Located in Beaufort Memorial’s Bluffton Medical Services complex at 11 Arley Way, the practice provides a full range of general adult outpatient medical care with an emphasis on wellness and chronic disease management and prevention.

In addition to primary care, more than a dozen board-certified Beaufort Memorial specialists see patients at the Bluffton Medical Services facility, including physicians specializing in general surgery, vascular surgery, OB-GYN, orthopedics, cardiology and neurology. Digital mammography with same-day results, lab and x-ray services and adult rehabilitation are also available at the Bluffton facility.
