Mini dental implants offer a proven, minimally invasive procedure for allowing attachment of a patient’s existing denture allowing for secure eating and talking experiences.

Patients are thrilled with the results and short recovery period.

They also appreciate the decreased cost. Mini implants cost about one-half what the standard larger implants cost and healing is immediate as compared to the four to eight months standard ones require.

There is still a place for standard implants, but the minis offer many advantages.

Of the hundreds of patients I have treated, most do not have adequate bone for standard larger implants and minis are their only alternative.

The procedure usually takes about one hour and requires no tissue cutting or sutures. They can immediately leave the office, throw away their denture adhesives, and use their dentures that are now firmly in place.

Fixed tooth replacement is also available with mini dental implants.

For those who have lost some or all of their teeth for various reasons, they now have more options in their treatment planning.

Mini dental implants can be used to restore teeth in the form of crowns and bridges in one visit.

A lot of the patients I see have old failing bridges due to recurrent decay. This is a real problem because this involves a number of teeth and there is nothing left to attach to.

With adequate planning, their teeth can be replaced by the same non-invasive, quick and comfortable procedure and can see results immediately.

Again, this is done at a fraction of the cost of traditional implants, there is no waiting for healing, and the teeth can be used right away.

Now you don’t have to settle for a removable denture anymore. Six to eight mini dental implants can be used to provide immediate tooth replacement that is fixed and stays in place.

So, if you are one of about 120 million Americans who, according to the American College of Prosthodontists, are missing at least one tooth, you now have more options for tooth replacement. No need to suffer with difficulty in eating, speech or sagging facial muscles.

Plus, mini implants can give you back your best smile.
