Board-certified internist Dr. Brandon McElroy has begun seeing patients at Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s Bluffton Primary Care practice in Westbury Park.
Dr. McElroy, who resides in Bluffton, joined the medical staff at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in the fall of 2016.
He had been practicing with Lady’s Island Internal Medicine prior to making the move to Bluffton Primary Care.
A summa cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, he earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the university’s Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2013.
Dr. McElroy completed his internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Throughout his medical training, Dr. McElroy volunteered at a free clinic in Memphis providing primary care to underserved adults and served as a mentor to fellow medical students.
Earlier, he worked as a psychiatric technician at Lakeshore Mental Health Institute in Knoxville.
Beaufort Memorial Bluffton Primary Care is located at 11 Arley Way, Suite 201, in Westbury Park.
The practice provides a full range of general adult outpatient medical care, from diagnosis and treatment to case management and total coordination of care.
