• A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at Lowcountry Presbyterian Church, 10 Simmonsville Road in Bluffton.

Clergy and members from Campbell Chapel AME, Church of the Palms United Methodist, and Lord of Life Lutheran also will be taking part in this time of worship. Rev. Christine Herrin, Rev. Dr. Jon Black, Rev. Rick Klotz, and the Rev. Pete Berntson welcome all community members to this service.

“What better time than Thanksgiving to gather with our friends and neighbors to give thanks to God,” said Pastor Pete Berntson of Church of the Palms UMC, one of the clergy who will be leading this service. “In our weekly study of scripture together, we pastors strive to have our churches be more connected and work closer together. One way is to worship together.”

The service will include familiar hymns, moments of reflection and testimonies focused on gratitude and an opportunity to give thanks to our common God.
