- Lord of Life Lutheran Church will present its annual Christmas Cantata at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services Dec. 9.
This year’s cantata is “Glory of Christmas” by Lloyd Larson.
The event is free and open to the public.

- St. Andrew By-the-Sea United Methodist Church will hold four Christmas Eve services Dec. 24 on Hilton Head Island and in Bluffton.
“Christmas Eve under the Stars” will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Oyster Factory Park, 63 Wharf St. in Bluffton. The family-oriented service, presented in cooperation with Zion Missionary Baptist Church, includes carols and the lighting of candles. Refreshments will be provided.
On Hilton Head, a Family Candlelight Service will be held at 4:30 pm. at the church, 20 Pope Ave. It will include the Women’s Ensemble and harp. Children in attendance may participate in a “Pop-Up Christmas Pageant.”
At 7 p.m., a Candlelight Communion Service with harp will be held.
The traditional Candlelight Service with Chancel Choir and harp will be held at 9:30 p.m.
