Kieran Staunton has been promoted to the position of head golf professional at Berkeley Hall Club.
He joined Berkeley Hall in May of 2017 as an assistant golf rofessional. He received his Class A PGA professional certification in February 2019.
A native of Surrey, England, Staunton has played on the European Tour, the European Challenge Tour and the Web.com Tour.

GOLF Magazine has named Belfair’s director of instruction Jason Baile one of the Top 100 Teachers in America. Baile is featured in the magazine’s April issue.
Belfair now has two top-ranked golf instructors. Baile and Dana Rader, an LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals Hall of Fame Inductee. Rader is also an Emeritus Member of GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 teachers.
Baile has been with Belfair since 2012 and Rader joined Belfair in August 2018.
Last year, Baile was named Best in State for 2018 by Golf Digest and Carolinas Section Teacher of the Year. His other accomplishments include 2016 and 2018 Hilton Head Island Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year.

Thomas Carrig has opened a new company, Chef T LLC, in Bluffton to provide personal chef services in the community.

They attended the AKC S.A.F.E Grooming course and were certified through American Kennel Club for safe handling of pets.

Hilton Head Public Service District (PSD) has once again been honored with the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Facility Excellence Award for the PSD’s Recycled Water Plant on Oak Park Drive.
This is the PSD’s third straight year earning the award, which recognizes the plant for environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
The PSD’s Recycled Water Plant annually recycles about 1 billion gallons of treated wastewater, producing beneficial recycled water that is then used for golf course irrigation and wetlands nourishment, with zero discharge to area waterways.
Additionally, Bob Davis, Hilton Head PSD Recycled Water supervisor, has been honored with the Water Environment Federation’s William D. Hatfield Award from the Water Environment Association of South Carolina.
The statewide award recognizes outstanding performance and professionalism in wastewater treatment plant operations.
Davis joined the PSD in 2016. He previously served as operations director with Georgetown County (S.C.) Water and Sewer. He began his career in the water and wastewater industries with International Paper in New York and South Carolina.
Davis holds advanced operator licenses in all water and wastewater categories, as well as a bachelor of science degree in biology from Coastal Carolina University, and an associate’s degree in science from Horry-Georgetown Tech.

Milena Stephens has joined Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) as its new education administrative coordinator. In this position, she will ensure every member has the resources to be fully prepared for a certification workshop or event.
Stephens will serve as liaison between hosts and participants to guarantee each has the best possible and most rewarding experience. She will also process scores and communicate with PTR members.
Stephens has been a member of the organization since 2011, and is a Certified Professional in all PTR education pathways. She grew up on the courts of her parents’ tennis club, where she started playing at age 3. As a junior player, Stephens reached No. 1 in her native Brazil.
She earned a full athletic scholarship to play for Delta State University, and went on to earn her B.A. and then a Master’s degree in sports management.
Stephens previously served as director of tennis at Cleveland Country Club in Mississippi, and coached at Midtown Athletic Club in Weston, Fla., where she discovered a passion for working with children.
